Hi, I'm Helen, the heart behind Pets, Plants and Polish.
I offer a reliable, flexible and fully insured home care service across St Leonards, Hastings and the surrounding areas.

Pets, Plants and Polish grew from the things I care about most: animals of every kind, thriving healthy plants, and a calm, clean and cared for home. My work brings all three of these things together, to support those who need help keeping their homes and everything in it happy and healthy.

I offer a combination of these services, whether it's just one, two or all three, I offer the same thorough and thoughtful care I give my own home. ​

My Homecare Services
Pet Care
I fully understand every pet is different - some need play and stimulation, while others need quiet and calm. My approach is always respectful and kind.
What I offer:
Feeding routines - reliable and regular feeding times for all pets. From cats to rabbits and guinea pigs, fish to reptiles
Cleaning enclosures - safe and hygienic care for cages, tanks, hutches and litter trays.
Companionship and cuddles - a calm reassuring attention for pets who need and like cuddles, and comfort.
Dog walking - dogs who are happy to be walked on the lead for that much needed outside stimulation.
Cleaning
Every visit is tailored to what your home needs most, weather its a general weekly clean, two weekly or a more in depth monthly clean.
What I offer:
​Dusting and polishing - all surfaces, shelves and skirting boards
Vacuuming and mopping - carpets, rugs and hard floors.
Bathroom cleaning - sinks, tiles, showers, baths, and toilets thoroughly cleaned
Kitchen cleaning - worktops, tiles, sinks and appliances thoroughly cleaned
Beds changing - fresh duvets and sheets
Plant Care and Light Gardening
Caring for your plants and garden is as important to me as looking after your pets.
What I offer:
Houseplants watering and care - ensuring each plant has the right amount of watering and care needed
Garden watering - keeping borders, pots, hanging baskets and flower beds hydrated during spring and summer.
Light gardening - weeding, potting, deadheading and light shrubs and hedge trimming
Seasonal support - small tidy ups, plant checks and gentle upkeep to help maintain you outside space
